Founding Donor Program
Maercker School District 60 Education Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) status, formed at the request of the District 60 Board of Education. The Foundation was established in October 2005 to be a long-term source of funding support for extraordinary instructional programming for District students. The Foundation's goal is to fund activities that take students' educational experiences above and beyond what is seen in the typical classroom.
As a newly formed charitable organization, the Foundation has established a Founding Donor Program to launch its important mission of raising funds for grants that will enhance and enrich our children's education in District 60. Through the generosity of our Founding Donors, the Foundation has been able to grant awards, as well as to offer additional grant opportunities. This is a remarkable accomplishment for the Foundation's first few years of operation and would not have been possible without our Founding Donors. Their names appear below.
